Eternal Flame: ‘Lake of Fire’ discovered in Australia

An underground fire beneath a dry lake bed in the Australian Outback has been burning on and off for months and has firefighters stumped.
Drivers have reported seeing smoke along the bed of Lake Woytchugga, near Wilcannia in far-western NSW, and firefighters, who put the fire out on an almost-weekly basis, are fed up with the eternal flame.
“We thought we had it out about a month ago and just in the last couple of days, with some wind, it’s popped back up,” incident controller Chris Favelle said.
Mr Favelle says he suspects organic material is fuelling the fire.

Seven Mistakes Women Make With Men

Mistake #1: Being an Open Book

When a woman meets someone she really likes, she can't help but share her feelings with him.  She talks about her life experiences, personal history, and past relationships in an attempt to impress him and show him that she is perfect for him.  Moreover, she confesses her feelings to him and lets
him know how much she likes him early on, very, very early on...

If a man is logical, he'll very much appreciate this kind of openness.  But the reality is, when it comes to attraction, a man is NOT logical.  He's emotional!  He acts according to how he feels, rather than what makes sense.

This means, he may rationally, LOGICALLY think you are the best match for him.
But if he doesn't feel that spark on a GUT LEVEL, he will leave. This is one of the reasons why some guys leave a woman who, in every sense of the world, seems perfect for him.

To make a guy feel that gut level attraction, he has to wonder about two
things at the beginning:

(a) Does she like me?

(b) What's up with her?

There Is A New STD That Is Killing Men Who Like Oral Séx

It appears that there is a new STD that is killing men and its related to oral s*x. The Human papillomavirus (HPV) was once believed to have no effect on men, but it’s now found to be harmful to men as well as well as women. In fact, giving someone unprotected oral s*x or receiving it from them if they are infected can seriously jeopardize your health. A new study has found a rapid increase in the number of throat and neck cancers over the last 12 years, with thousands of new cases occurring every single year.

BlackDoctor.org discusses the issue in more detail, noting that throat, mouth and neck cancers were once caused by tobacco use. But although the use of tobacco has declined, the rates of certain cancers relatedto HPV have been on the rise.

The rate of STDinfection is even greater in the black community, where a lower marital rate has led to an increase in the number of s*x partners. One researcher at a major university told YBW that he randomly tested 20 men in a barbershop and found that half of them were infected with Chlamydia without even knowing it.

According to the Journal of Clinical Oncology, over 11,000 cases of cervical cancer will be diagnosed this year, but the number has been declining. Women regularly get Pap Smears, but men are less likely to go to the doctor. As a result, the number of HPV-positive oropharyngeal cancer cases will rise to 8,700, with 7,400 of those cases in men. The disease then festers within the mouth and throat of the victim, causing cancerous sores to emerge for those who are undiagnosed.

4 skills you need before getting married

Before you got a driver’s license, you learned to drive. Before marriage, learn these 4 skills.
Before someone gets a driver’s license, they take a drivers ed course, practice with the help of an experienced driver, and closely study the rulebook. These are all valuable things to do, because driving without the necessary skills would make someone a menace on the roads, and a danger to themself and others.
The same thought process applies to marriage, as well. Before getting a marriage license, people must learn how to do the high-skills activity that partnership requires. Otherwise, couples are at risk for intense fighting, and launching a marriage that’s at risk from the outset.

Charles Okah Writes The Catholic Church From Kuje Prison Regarding October 1 2010 Bomb Blast Trials

By Charles Okah
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, and I hope this letter meets you well. The reasons I choose to direct this letter to you are that I am a Catholic and you are an old boy of my alma mater, St. Gregory’s College, Lagos.

I write from Kuje Prison Abuja where two other Catholics and I have been languishing in solitary confinement for 2 years on trumped-up charges relating to the October 1, 2010 bomb attack claimed by the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND).

My name is Charles Tonbra Okah, aka Billy Bones. On October 16, 2010 operatives of the State Security Services on a warrant invaded my residence in Apapa GRA claiming that I was the suspected spokesman for MEND using the pseudonym “Jomo Gbomo.” My eldest son, visiting from the United States where he attends the University of Kansas (KU) was also arrested.

Engr. Lanre Fashesin still missing

Mr. Lanre Fashesin has not been heard from in the last 3 months after he was kidnapped at a site in Edo State. The family had up until now made frantic efforts to secure his release to no avail. The Police also claim to have hit a dead end and seem to have become clueless as to how else to find the kidnapped engineer. Mr. Fashesin was working at the site where he was kidnapped as a contractor for Dextron Engineering Limited based in Lagos.

The family today put out a release appealing to members of the public to kindly join in the search for Lanre who recently just got married.

Engr. Lanre Fashesin, referred to by the kidnappers as ‘Larry’ (see picture) was kidnapped around a Niger Delta PHCN project site in Iguiye village(between Okada & Benin City) 4 months ago. We have not heard anything from him or the kidnappers for about 3 months now.

Lanre is 6 foot 3 inches tall, and speaks Yoruba and English fluently. Please call 08069439240 if you have any information & spread the word.

7 reasons you are jealous of your friends… 7 ways to stop

Overcoming Jealousy:

As thrilled as you are that your inner circle consists of successful, happy women, it’s normal to question whether you’re as successful and happy as they are. “Women instinctively compare themselves to their friends,” explains Irene Levine, PhD, professor of psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine and author of Best Friends Forever: Surviving a Breakup with Your Best Friend“When a friend has more of something or does something better—whether it’s looks, a career, a family or money—it’s natural to feel some degree of jealousy.” But competition can cause you to be aggressive toward your pal or avoid her completely. “Being aware of your envy is a good first step because you can devise strategies to overcome the negative consequences of that feeling,” says Dr. Levine. Not sure how to deal with your competitive streak? Try these solutions for beating seven common jealousy triggers.

Bigger House:
The problem: Your abode is smaller than your fellow homeowner’s.
The fix: If a more spacious home is your main priority, it’s not impossible to attain, says Jan Yager, a friendship coach and author of When Friendship Hurts: How to Deal With Friends Who Betray, Abandon, or Wound You. You could move to a larger house in a less expensive neighborhood, she suggests. But most of the time, there’s no compelling reason to feel jealous over a McMansion. “Think of all the negatives associated with a huge house,” she says, such as extra effort to maintain it and expensive utility bills to pay. Also, concentrate on what you do well around the house. Invite your buddy over and show off your gardening skills or cookie-baking prowess.

What women want - Part 1

It is so easy these days to come across articles detailing what men want from women, how to get him to commit to you, how to keep your man etc. But I seldom see articles or lists on how to keep your woman, how to make her the best wife or best girlfriend or generally what women want.  A couple of guys generally state that ladies are complicated and hard to please, but just like there are general rules on how to make a man happy, so also are there some general rules on how to make a woman happy. I have postponed writing this article for a while but I think it is high time, I wrote it. So fellas, it's the 21st century, you aint the only ones who need to be taken care of, we ladies also have our wants and needs and unless you

We like ATTENTION!

Yes, just like you do. we also like it when we are paid attention to. We need you to spend quality time with us.  A relationship is like a seed, if you nurture it, it will grow good fruits and vice versa. The guys that are referred to as 'players' whom you wonder why good girls keep falling for simply know this rule. You need to pay attention to your lady. Compliment our looks and mean it, be interested in what goes on in our lives. How many men pick up the phone to call their ladies just to find out how the day is going? to ask whether she needs help with the groceries....etc

We do not like LIES!

I have heard a couple of times that when you tell your lady the truth and the whole truth...she will not believe you but when you lie to her, she sometimes believes you wholeheartedly. Listen fellas, we do not like to be lied to. It is just very easy, once we discover that you are lieing to us, it becomes very hard to believe you. Now when you say the truth and it is ridiculous to us..which is the case in most times. The disbelieve in/on our faces is actually that of "Are you kidding me? What the h*** were you thinking?

Life choices.....

Recently it struck me so much how virtually everything we do in life is as a result of the choices we make. Ok, let's forget the fact the we have little or no say about our lives in the early stages but as time goes on and one becomes aware, you start to make your choices.

The choices start with whether you choose to listen to your teachers in class, participate in extra curricular activities or just exist in your school. Even in the little things of life, I would imagine how many times one chose to wake up early to study, plan a day or pray.

I mean look at it, just the way you choose a pair of shoes to buy, so also do you choose your friends, spouses and acquaintances. How many times have you wondered whether you made the right choices? I remember driving to work on a fateful day and I pondered on the route to drive to work. I eventually chose one and got stuck in a traffic jam and I imagined what would have happened if I chose the other route. It may also have been prone to traffic but it occured to me that my experience on the road would have been very different. So I applied the same principle to life and I imagined........

Mother raised daughter as a boy for two years before being discovered

A Brazilian girl was placed with a foster family when it was discovered her mother raised her as a boy for two years before an aunt discovered the truth, a Brazilian news program has reported.
The mother named her female baby Samuel and managed to erase the “female” check box on her birth certificate at the hospital, then checking the “male” box, R7 Noticias said. After the baby was discharged, the mother registered “Samuel” as a boy at a municipal office in the central Brazilian city of Senador Canedo.
For two years the mother dressed her daughter in boy’s clothes and cut her hair short, convincing family members, including the child’s father, that the girl was a boy. A suspicious aunt uncovered the ruse when she peeked in the child’s diaper, the station said.
