It's been a while since I blogged right. Even I am already wondering whether I am giving in to whether or not I can keep up with all my responsibilities - Wife, Mother, daughter, Sister, Blogger, Friend Student, etc... Fret not, just kidding. I have just been caught up with all my relocation hazzles. I.e moving from France to Nigeria.
It has been a very funny experience, funny in the sense that I underestimated the volume of the stuffs that I had acquired in my one year of staying in France. Thank God for friends sha, they were awesome. I finally concluded that I was not a good traveller because as at 10mins to take off time, I was yet to go through passport control and had to call my friend to please make sure the plane doesn't take off if I didn't get on it. I know right! What audacity with my economy ticket but hey it wasn't my fault that I had excess hand luggage and I didn't have money to even afford another ticket and would be screwed if I missed the flight. And if it counted for anything, we were two passengers, so I took my chance. Hehehehehehehehehe But seriously, have you noticed how time flies when you have a lot of stuffs to do? I mean I got to the airport 2hrs before take off time. In between weighing my bags to comply with the baggage requirements and looking dazed at my excess luggage.........
So after scurrying through passport control like a crazy person with my two year old in tow and sprinting through duty free stores - thank God I was proactive enough to know that would happen #iknowmyselfquitewell#
I made the flight - yippee!!! Although we didn't take off until about 1hr later, I was glad that I made the flight, albeit forgetting how cold it was on those altitudes.
So I am back home, glad to be with my big baby even though he is already threatening to send me back - more on that later.
